@itsdurreadan@es_ca_nor It’s sad, but this is actually something many people don’t even notice. I too saw these things disappearing, and so much of what made iPhones look actually magical was lost to time.
I still think the UI is much more cohesive in iOS 27, but certainly miss these. iOS 28 maybe?
@stanxq@voidcodead That’s why I’ve been a huge proponent of KMP+CMP for a while now. It works VERY well on iOS, and it’s 100% native on Android.
You can also have only business logic shared and have native UI in both platforms, or even do a mixed approach with CMP for views and SwiftUI navigation.
@AndyH_England @durreadan01 It’s not a flaw, it’s how adhesives work. They fill the small grooves that cause the anti-glare to be the way it is. The only way around, is to use a anti glare screen protector
@SnazzyLabs The XR ws a good option for tose who wanted the new form factor without spending 1000 dollars, I had one myself, a 128Gb version and do not regret.
That said, of course I wanted a OLED screen and smaller bezel, but it was miles ahead from iPhone 8 design that was the alternative
@UniverseIce@iM4CH3T3 Still using my iPhone XS! Had a XR and it was stolen last year, it wasn’t in my budget to upgrade to the latest version, so I only got the slight upgrade from the XR to the XS.
With that said, I’m probably buying my mother’s iPhone this year, just to keep having upgrades.
@karol_root@shbkes@Barnaby_Jay@appltrack That’s exactly what it is, dust enter the port and as soon as we insert the cable it compacts the dust to the end of the port, that makes the connection weak overtime.
Just some cleaning should solve the issue
