@OttoBuffum@CalderCitySport@PremierLacrosse Of course. There's plenty of them unaccounted for. But, of those that we've seen change hands, they are generally moving to those who are active fans and collectors.
But, yes, there's still a TON that have never seen the light of day, including the 1/1 Fields that I'm seeking.
@OttoBuffum@CalderCitySport@PremierLacrosse As far as we've seen so far, in the pretty active lax card community, a very strong percentage of the top value cards ($1k+) are in fact owned by huge lacrosse fans (including some dealers like @CalderCitySport and not by speculators.
Last weekend's '26 Men's & Women's @NCAALAX Champ Finals both scored double-digit increases YoY on ESPN
🥍 Full Men's Tourney | Up 31% & most-watched in 13 yrs
🥍 Men's title game | 778K avg. viewers
🥍 Full Women's Tourney | Up 72%
🥍 Women's title game | 470K avg. viewers
These are great numbers, but think my feeling on this now is sort of “alright, now put up.” If ESPN thinks they’re this awesome, let’s see some more TV windows and games next spring.
2 weeks ago I got this DM:
“Hello, I am looking for some info on a PLL card my kid pulled this weekend in SLC. Not really a collector but let each of my kids grab a few packs at the archers game. It’s a Brennan o Neil gold auto 1/1. Not his rookie season but from 2025.. Any idea the possible value? “
I told him how I’d value it & asked if he wanted to sell it, which he did. Less than 48 hours later I brought him multiple offers and we agreed on a sale to a big BO collector.
The card arrived yesterday and will be off to its new home Monday. This is my 3rd Brennan O’Neill #1/1 sale and getting your hands on awesome cards like this is always very cool, but what makes this deal special is the story and the handwritten note they included….
A father bought his son a couple packs of cards at a game and now, they’ll forever have this story about how those packs became a new stick & helmet for the son and a bedroom refresh for his sisters.
This is what matters. This is exactly what it’s all about.

These are the kinds of motivational posters this generation needs for advice.

Talk about motivation to finish the job.

@JBrooks1722@RoodBoiBased@SallyMayweather Having lived through all of them as well, I can confidently assert that this is always going in one direction, and has only one outcome, regardless of which one(s) may have or may not have agreed with your personal stances on a few issues.
@SallyMayweather Been trying that for two decades.
The anti-war candidate wins every election, and then swaps to neocon within their first year in office. Every time.
@danarestia Brilliant way to not only run out one of the best in the business, but also make sure that none of the up-and-coming big time coaches are going to take you seriously.
If this is true, who would want to work with these clowns?
@FlowGo37 And make sure you blow your whistle as soon as possible, preferably with your head still in the way. Ain't nobody got time for figuring out a cadence.
@danarestia@jordiebarstool Please tell me that Yozzo-Scaperrotto is a third cousin of Joe Spallina.
Having a decade old grudge become the deus ex machina for a Spallina goal posterizing Maguire for an OT goal in the PLL championship game would be a movie script.
@Devon_Eriksen_ Liberty, as a virtue, depends on having a population of neighbors who are moral and just, unwilling to violate their principals because they also can pursue better lives without resorting to piracy (direct or by proxy). We don't have that population, and likely never will.
@PraefectusCas@BradWilcoxIFS@CostelloWilliam@MariaBaerWrites@DrJasonCarroll Gotcha. Yeah, the framing here is atrocious.
As if the exact same cohort of women isn't getting their own version of attention-porn pipelined directly into their brains through social media, smut books, and the Hallmark channel. No possible repercussions from that, eh?
