@dyraguCS@akatheobalt@VGCVictoryRoad@VGCPastes@PqlarBear I’m stupid, I meant during the SV era (excluding 2023 when restricteds weren’t allowed). It slipped my mind that Caly was a Gen 8 pokémon and not a product of Paldean Powercreep 😅
@Drei_Xander_@VGCVictoryRoad Brute Bonnet has worse defensive typing and ability than Amoonguss generally, but a much better matchup into Caly-S and Lunala. Also Def boosting Protosynthesis can help with Caly-I and Koraidon when he Teras.
@Relentles_Rogue@WolfeyGlick I’m stumped by it too and couldn’t find an answer anywhere. The only thought that comes to mind is SpAtk drop on Snarl but that is so niche that I think there must be something more to it.
@KaguyaFalls Can you explain the thought process behind the decision? The only thing thar comes to mind is SpAtk drop on Snarls but that seems so niche. Really curious to hear from the pioneer! :)
@JMWarehouse_ Back at it again with my personal “fun facts” project.
This year the distribution of points seems more even, after Joez and Dalton won back to back tournaments last year.
BBD playing as well as he is and being on the lower half is kind of insane to me.
@JMWarehouse_@TalkinJake For tiebreakers, I went with number of championships/runner-ups, that’s why Dalton is ahead of Luke despite them having the same amount of points; same goes for Lou/Rourke and Rob/Zo. Cannobio and Penik are a true tie, but Dan pulls ahead in points per championship.
