1 At the risk of catching it from fellow Democrats, I think Abdul El-Sayed might win his election. He’s a brilliant physician, a terrific orator, and a 2 state solution which he supports is the only solution for a lasting peace between Israel and its Palestinian neighbors. He’s
Half of America (171 MILLION Americans) is not earning a living wage, yet Republicans pretend to care about the 10 out of 500,000 athletes are are transgender.
It's almost as if they don't want you to talk about the important stuff.
-russian Lavrov:
"Russia will continue the war against Ukraine until its territorial demands are met."
🙄🤦♀️
..............
What is he talking about?!
Putin signed the agreement defining Ukraine's borders at a time when Ukraine had surrendered the nuclear weapons located on its territory.
The borders are also clearly defined in the Ukrainian Constitution.
Russia has absolutely no legal standing in this matter.
So?!..🤷♀️
Welker: Radical, dangerous, how do you respond?
El-Sayed: It's not radical to believe that people should be able to afford their groceries or to believe that you should have healthcare in this country. It's not radical to believe that you don't think the president should be able to deny elections or make $2.2 billion out of his role in office. It's not radical to believe we can drink clean water.
Zohran Mamdani:
We’re not running away from the Democratic Party. We’re going back to what the party used to be.
You think about FDR and LaGuardia. You think about the New Deal. That’s what the Democratic Party once was. That’s what it could be again.
And if we want to win, I think that’s what we have to become.
I don’t care what side of the aisle you’re on - if your position is that the president of the United States and his family should be immune from IRS scrutiny, you’re unqualified to be the Attorney General.
It’s an indictment on our entire system that 50 GOP Senators don’t agree.
"It is not possible for any country to remain neutral towards this conflict.
Supporting Ukraine is not a choice between two sides, but a choice between law and lawlessness.”

.....
There's nothing to add to that; it's true...!
Buttigieg: You don’t have to be a lifelong Democrat to believe that one job ought to be enough in the American economy. You don’t have to be a bleeding-heart liberal to see that costs need to go down and wages need to go up, not the other way around.
You don’t have to belong to this political party or that political party to recognize that God does not belong to any political party in the United States of America, or to insist that people of every faith and any faith, if any, all deserve equal treatment, respect, dignity, and safety in this country.
Unless you held your personal phone up to a dying patient so they could gasp “I’m sorry…I love you…goodbye…” to their family on a group call you organized, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you did the same for a patient who was already unresponsive and nearing death so their loved ones could say the things they never said and you were never meant to hear, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you rationed oxygen, medical equipment and life-saving medications, because your top-rate, first-world country, and its self-aggrandizing medical system failed, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you’ve lost three patients in 45 minutes going from one bedside to the next so they did not die alone, praying the prayers a priest was meant to say because they could not come, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you’ve zipped a human being in a bag knowing no one else would ever gaze upon that face again, and placed it on a table in an office or on the floor of a refrigerated trailer meant for sides of beef, you do not judge Fauci.
Unless you hold a degree in nursing or medicine, or epidemiology, or public health, or at the very least can connect the dots, the very simple dots, you do not judge Fauci.
For if you lived and sit in judgment of decisions you did not make and do not understand, decisions for which you were never considered, and never would be, you are a fool and look dumb before humanity and God.
And may God help you, because you clearly cannot help yourself.
