.@realdonaldtrump and @tuckercarlson should know that attacks from
insecure men who can’t tell the difference between patriotism and nationalism will never diminish my love for this country. These titanium legs don’t buckle. My op-ed in @nytimes: https://t.co/DkVdw8Niil
So many hard truths and valuable insights in this piece. How do we create the one body, how do we see Imago Dei in all? @genaLthomas

“Meaningful” is always defined by whiteness. Meaningful because we don’t organize ourselves like white ppl? Because we don’t fundraise like white ppl? Because white ppl don’t know how to engage w/ how we understand spirituality/theology and what it means to be religious?
The piece is behind a paywall so I can only engage with the tweet and... sigh. I’m tired of being compared to the religious right/white people. Culturally, we are fundamentally different; that doesn’t mean we don’t exist and are “just people on the internet”. So offensive.
Amen, the stone-cold truth. And even with @RevDrBarber and @liztheo publishing all the time and organizing the tens of thousands. Media has got to learn how to report Christians. Cool it with wacky evangelical talking points and notice the swelling army of justice seekers.
