@AmosMurphy_@xerxes_master Well sure, but the whole point of the rule is to stop outside forces from interfering with the game. Same way if the ball grazes the ref he stops the play even if it goes back to the same team that kicked it into him
@statsowar It is certainly an unprecedented decision to have it happen while the tournament is going on but when you delay one suspension this is the box you back yourself in to
@statsowar Ronaldo’s situation was far worse, his suspension was only delayed because he’s a global superstar and has nothing to due with the foul itself. Balogun’s foul and VAR review went against VAR protocol in which they can’t use slow motion replays to bring the ref to the monitor
@sean_corp Any chance a bunch of fast break points off turnovers would contribute to this? Seems like you are missing that the Pistons don’t have as many half court possessions because of them
@WadeFink@OfficialNBARefs Posting the still image because you don’t want to show Ausar shoving Allen’s arm away from the ball? Good call, couldn’t imagine you admitting that the Pistons guy committed a foul first
@SamQuinnCBS Couldn’t be more wrong, Ausar shoved Allen’s arm away so Allen should have been at the free throw line with your logic. What a great way that game would have ended at the free throw line… NOT
@BadSportsRefs Wrong.. Thompson grabs Allen’s arm and shoves it out of the way. Should change your name to Bad Sports Takes since you clearly don’t know anything
@MoreForYou_CLE Dangerous for the players getting paid to not show up, or the coach for having them come out of stoppages throwing the ball out of bounds. Embarrassing
