The fact that so many people hope/want a D&D movie to go back and forth from people playing, to their characters, is a great example of why a D&D movie is a dumb idea.
Been thinking a lot lately about how DnD puts basically all of its effort into winning over players and getting players excited and engaged when DM’s spend basically all the money on the game and it gives them nothing
@TheNoirEnigma I know fortune effects were already mentioned, but don’t neglect hero points to honor your multi-d20-rolling-roots. Apologies if I’m repeating advise already given. (You obviously rock and need no advice.)
@TheNoirEnigma When you’re looking for a substitution for that A/D sauce, know that you can confidently sprinkle a spicy +1 circumstance bonus. The math is so tight, it works wonders. (Season to taste, but realize +2 is HOT and +4 is Carolina Reaper burn your face off.)
@JaredLogan If this Bryan Talbot from outside of St. Louis turns out to be overly pedantic about Blades in the Dark rules, I’m going to have to do some real soul searching. #blessed
@JaredLogan Excellent 1st episode. Well done!
IF you want to note the difference between Resistance Rolls and Indulging Vice, you might see how one could conflate the two. Or if you don’t want to, I’m sure that’s fine #eatbooty
