Updated code is up and live on a new branch - still some small testing to do but all working on my end. If you want to test and find any bugs feel free to let me know
For anyone who is trying or wanting to use our framework - I am in the process of updated installers and dependencies to a later version of Python to improve use ability ! Stay Tuned !

Our latest paper is now published in @JBiomech Open Access & Open-Source code. A great effort from all those involved both as (co)-authors and those involved in the periphery and @FWOVlaanderen for helping fund these developments across and benefitting multiple projects
Finishing the year in style with a job alert! ๐ข
I am seeking for a talented postdoctoral researcher/researcher to join my Neuromechanics group at UNSW. This is a 2-year full-time position focusing on predictive musculoskeletal simulations (1/3) ๐
Come work with us!
We have an available tenure-track position in biomechanics in the exercise, sport, and movement sciences (ESMS) unit within @UofMHealthSci!
See the job posting and link below!

population based approaches like SSM, PCA, synergy analysis etc combined with more accurate and validated insilico models seems to be an exciting opportunity to do so in the future
Been seeing a lot more studies investigating the association between morphology/alignment and function in recent months/years. Wondering what the threshold for being able to actually directly define direct causation is/will be.

Interesting study suggesting changes in cadence as a gait retraining strategy. Unfortunately no (full) kinematics reported or direct estimation of contact loading. My guess is the small change in GRF is offset by the kinematics and why no moment difference are seen.

Every fornight I have ~2.5hour meeting w/ 5 researchers (15min/pp) I supervise/oversee - from ankle, knee, shoulder, and incap research ; Masters, PhD, & postdoc. Simultaneously one of the most rewarding but draining exercises - having to swtich btwn each very differnt project
The hill I will die on: STEM grad programs MUST teach PhD students how to communicate their science to the public and legislators alike. This is ๐ฏ not a drill.
@JBiomech@FWOVlaanderen In case anyone has already downloaded the repository - I pushed a new commit this morning becuase I forgot to upload one dependent module ( :

Can it ? Yes .. but (my naive hot take) if you want a truly "useful" review, which is not just re-reporting current literature - and instead augmented with the views/opinions of actual experts which put literature in perspective with past and potential futures - then no
