@HankBobbyDale@VinceAndTmac But like TMac said one is over the course of a longer time period and requires sustained elite consistency. What Brunson did was impressive but so was Mike Brown, Karl Town who going into game 3 or 4 was in talks to win FMVP, OG was clutch.
I know it should have no bearing on how I view players historically but that 82-0 game really be having me look at some players and some organizations sideways looking at you Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, anybody who played for the Raptors, Blazers and Kings smh
@SexyHallMonitor@countmagic Okay so since you’re not getting it I’ll put it like this any field especially in the entertainment industry NEEDS youth to survive.
@SexyHallMonitor@countmagic It’s still not good for the health of the genre long term. It’s important for new stars to be churned out. Right now we’ve had a lot of swing and misses or a ton of inconsistency in the 2020s
@CluelessAngelo@countmagic Yeah but Madonna ain’t even a top 30-40 pop star at the moment that’s what the OP is saying. In fact at Drake’s age Madonna was in the midst of a comeback(a successful one at that) but the youth still had the boybands, Spears, Aguilera, Aaliyah, Destinys Child etc..
Using Aaron Gordon as a reason Peyton Watson should’ve played isn’t the flex you think it is considering he has been perpetually injured for the last two years and some serious prolonged rest would’ve done him some good. Don’t leave out AG signed a new deal in 2024, 4/$133 mil
Think Rich Paul is advising Watson to sit if his pal Lebron needs him to win a playoff series?
Nope.
... Also says a lot about Watson's character as he watched Aaron Gordon drag his hamstring up and down the floor for a 2nd-straight year.
As a Mavs fan I am extremely tired of us bringing on past their prime veterans. Since 2010 we’ve added the following players:
Vince Carter
Deron Williams
Lamar Odom
DeAndre Jordan
Elton Brand
Richard Jefferson
David Lee
Andrew Bogut
JJ Redick
Kemba Walker
Klay Thompson
Been rocking with Devin since his Are you the One Days but this might be the most hyperbolic thing I’ve ever seen him say. Ain’t no way he watched that interaction on tv and thought to himself…”yep that’s cheating”. Was it out of pocket and inappropriate? Yes. Cheating? No.
I don’t know the boundaries of anyone’s relationship so this could all be fine but I’ll just say this, cheating on a reality show is wildly embarrassing.
Steve Nash got his MVP in 05-06 for this exact reason. People always say it should’ve went to Kobe but forget the main reason Nash won was because the Suns won 54 games despite Amare Stoudemire only playing 3 games. They also lost Joe Johnson and Q-Rich in the previous offseason.
Love A’Ja and she is rightfully in the run for MVP. But THIS year it’s Miles! Olivia has lead her team as a ROOKIE to the 1 seed mostly without Phee. Phee was injured majority of the season fam. The Lynx have only loss 7 games bro!
This is the worst I’ve seen Cara Maria perform on the Challenge since maybe her back to back run on Battle of the Exes into Battle of the Seasons. Remember this is the same girl who got to a final with Marie of all people. What Happened?
Now guys like say a Kurt Warner clearly needed it to get in. If Cam Newton gets in now that opens up the convo for guys like Rich Gannon, Steve McNair and Boomer Esiason. All those guys won an MVP and made a Super Bowl appearance. Cam was Super Nova but not a hall of famer
Saw PJ Tucker state that he believes Cam Newton is a no brainer Hall of Famer and it had me think about a few things. 1. Confirms why the NBA has a weak hall of fame. 2. It makes me think about the over reliance on an outlier season for someone to get into the hall of fame.
In my opinion I should be able to remove your MVP accolade and it should change nothing. You remove John Elway, Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Steve Young, Dan Marino, Peyton Manning’s MVP and they will still cleanly go to the Hall of Fame.
@Kameron_Hay My issue with Amare being in is in real time I didn’t think he was a hall of famer. Like when he left I don’t remember anybody saying that and I was someone who lived to go back and watch his games and highlights. The NBA HOF is just weak so it doesn’t matter for real
The last person Drake should take advice from is Joe Budden. Also, the last rapper who needs to prove anything is Drake. Bro has gone at Meek, Push and Kendrick he good. It’s these other tough talking mfs who need to get busy
🚨 Joe Budden CHALLENGES Drake to stop subliminally circling Jay-Z and finally make the battle DIRECT
Joe says if Drake really means “the pen isn’t dry,” then he should “take the bait,” get on the hardest beat possible and throw the first real punch at Hov.
“Swing. A real swing. Throw a punch.”
The room then debates whether Drake could actually beat Jay-Z, with Joe saying if he somehow did:
“The other rappers’ll salute it.”
