Most businesses have no idea whether AI is recommending them or not.
Here's how to start tracking it:
Pick ten questions a homeowner would ask about your services. "Who's the best plumber in Boca Raton." "How much does AC repair cost near me." "Best roofer for flat roofs in Palm Beach."
Type each one into ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overview. Write down who gets mentioned. Do this every single week.
After a month you'll see patterns. You'll know which competitors are getting cited. You'll know what sources AI is pulling from. And you'll know exactly where you need to show up to start getting mentioned yourself.
Take a look at the citations and start listing your BUSINESS ON THOSE SITES
We've been killing it with SEO and the rankings side of things, but Conversion rates aren't where we want them to be once traffic hits the site.
Anyone have any recommendations for home service cro, either resources or a person?
We use clarity so have the data
@TheSoftWashPro@irentdumpsters I guess the question is how much revenue would that relate to, and who can you hire/delegate 2 hours of tasks to in order to free up that revenue.
If it's 5k of extra revenue per week and you can hire someone at $100/hour to free up that two hours to take the zoom call, do it
@TheSoftWashPro@irentdumpsters Spend your time talking to guys that have already solved the problem and can solve it for you as well. It'll likely come at a cost but that's how you grow faster and more aggressively. If your in wash and lights, just figure out how you can focus on selling more
Google now asks your customers to tag the exact service they got, rate the price, and say how much they paid. Right inside the review.
This is massive. Every tag becomes structured data that Google's AI uses to decide who shows up for what.
A customer writes "water heater replacement" and tags it as "fairly priced" at $1,200. Google now connects your profile to that exact keyword and price point.
But your customer can only tag a service if you actually listed it on your profile. If your services section is empty, you get nothing.
Go add every service you offer to your google profile asap
We rode the Toronto subway and built an AI agent for the TTC. In under 10 minutes. On a moving train. With phone hotspot wifi.
Then we handed it to real commuters and filmed what happened.
The TTC has had 30 years to make their customer service better. We had one laptop and a mobile hotspot.
If you're a frequent commuter and want to get the latest info on interruptions and delays, try it out: chatbase{dot}co{slash}ttc
You can also build a personalized, conversational AI agent for your business, repost this and comment "Chatbase" and we'll send you a code to get a month free on us.
@ZacGawn Check your console logs and see the long tail keyword it's searching to get your results, and get your saas to show up there. This may need traditional SEO on Google, but lots of the time it's about getting on the right listicle
