Paid £3k+ for appliances from @JohnLewisRetail, oven is damaged. 48min on Saturday to chatbot because I couldn’t get through on phone, emailed & got response 48hr later saying I need to wait ANOTHER 48hr. Then had a REALLY unhelpful lady from CS on phone called Cassie. Appalling!

@HMRCcustomers This is really unhelpful. You’re referring me back to the 2 contact methods I’ve already said I’ve tried. Which is the whole point in me contacting you. Our return is due today- I have raised this issue multiple times over the last few days and nobody is helping

@HMRCcustomers Hi, having trouble attaching a business VAT account to my gateway, return is due tomorrow. Your lines either don’t let me in the queue, or yesterday I waited in the queue for 40mins and then it cut-off. Your website advice is not solving my issue. Thanks

@ODEONCinemas I’ve been waiting 6 wks for a refund for a payment you shouldn’t have taken. I’ve chased & chased. Someone took my card details yesterday to make an ‘immediate payment’ and still nothing. I’ve asked for your complaints policy but I was ignored. Absolutely appalling!
