The racist, dehumanising remarks against @KMbappe by Paraguayan Sen. Celeste Amarilla are despicable, regrettably not isolated.
States & sports organisations must prevent acts of racism & discrimination, and ensure independent and effective accountability. Social media must also prevent and address racial discrimination on their platforms.

Hello @GhanaMet. I think you’ve done a good job so far with your weather updates. However, you need to make them simpler. I gave your weekly outlook to Claude to simplify it for me. Can we have something like these in addition to your international standard reporting format?
Joined the good people from CDD-Ghana to engage learners from Dzelukope R.C school on corruption and its impact on community development.
Learners were made aware that corruption does not affect adults alone. They were also educated on mechanisms to report corruption.

The conversations continue under the Strengthening Accountability, Rule of Law, and Institutional Responsiveness in Ghana (SARIS) Project.
So far, citizen groups have led community engagements in Kabenla-Suazo and Gomoa West; student engagements in Keta and Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese; media engagements in Keta; and outreach activities with market women in Keta. Participants learned about causes and implications of corruption and available channels for reporting.
More engagements are underway as the project continues to connect with citizens across participating districts.
CDD-Ghana, in partnership with Transparency International Ghana (@tighana_) and the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (@GACC_GHANA), implements the SARIS Project with funding support from the European Union (@EuropeInGhana).
