The rights of political prisoners are universal, beyond Geography Government or political affiliation. Be it in India ,Pakistan or anywhere in the world, those incarcerated must be treated with dignity and humanity, with access to proper medical care, family and legal counsel, and due process.
Court orders must be respected and rule of law upheld. Political differences can never justify denying a prisoner his or her fundamental rights.

Imran Khan must be shifted to a hospital and provided proper medical care. He has stood up for Islam and spoken about the suffering in Kashmir and Palestine on the world stage. Release Imran Khan now. #ReleaseImranKhan#ImranKhan#EnoughIsEnoughFreeKhan
The number of Kashmiri youth arrested today alone is more than the number of Indian youth that would be arrested even if they protested continuously at Jantar Mantar for an entire year. We are not the same bro!
Insha Malik was 14-years-old when shotgun pellets fired by Indian forces blinded her in Kashmir.
Years later, she is speaking out against a Bollywood film she says downplays the devastating impact of pellet guns.
Deeply disturbed and pained by news reports from Bhaderwah of the killing of a 30 year old young civilian Arif Hussain, by SOG personnel followed by local protests against the killing and internet shutdown across the district.
My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family in this tragedy that struck them and with his young and pregnant widow who joined the protests against the gruesome killing of her husband.
Such incidents, including the recent killing of Rashid Ahmad Mughal in Ganderbal, are against all norms of human and civil rights and law. They deepen fear and mistrust.
Authorities should immediately investigate, fix accountability, make the findings public and punish the perpetrators.
Again put under house arrest today and prevented from attending an event organised by the youth of downtown Srinagar at Eidgah. Regret that the opportunity to engage with the youth was obstructed!
Meanwhile a disturbing write up in a leading international news network reports an upcoming Bollywood film, referring to use of pellet guns in Kashmir as a means of “limited damage“ and mocking at the suffering of pellet victims. For thousands of victims living and suffering the consequences of pellets lodged in their eyes and limbs, this is akin to rubbing salt in their wounds. These victims mostly young, need empathy, care and justice not propaganda. The filmmaker’s should reconsider such insensitivity and desist from releasing the film in it’s present form.

Life has been a roller coaster frm childhood to adulthood, and now maturity.Frm school days to spending nearly 10yrs away frm home for studies n job,I learned 1 truth:home is home. No amount of money, success, can ever replace the peace and feeling of being whr your heart belongs.
We buried him at night about five days back. Some of his family members were with us along with the police,” his uncle Ghulam Rasool Mughal told The Indian Express.
Hope the “Inquiry-Report” ordered by the administration will be made public. #Kashmir

On the eve of the New Islamic Year, 1448 AH, we pray that the Almighty blesses the world with peace, mercy and reconciliation.
The Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, which marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar, reminds us that faith, patience and hope can overcome even the most difficult challenges. At a time of conflict and division, may we recommit ourselves to the values of justice, compassion, dialogue and mutual respect.
May this year bring peace to troubled lands, resolution of conflicts worldwide, unity to the Ummah, and blessings to all humanity. Ameen.
BORN ON 14 JUNE.
39 YEARS OF IMPRISONMENT. COUNTLESS SACRIFICES.
Granted bail by the Supreme Court, yet never released.
My father, Shabir Ahmad Shah, has spent decades behind bars, but his spirit remains unshaken, his dignity intact, and his resolve unwavering.
Today, I pray for his health, release, and justice.
May Allah reward every sacrifice.

Deeply disturbed by the news coming from across the LoC. The killing of more than a dozen protesting civilians and police personnel is extremely sad. The Government there should know better than to use force to handle public grievance and demands in this manner.
When people take to the streets to express their concerns, it is a signal that they seek to be heard. It is the responsibility of those in authority to listen, engage and peacefully resolve the matter, rather than allow it to escalate into violence, arbitrary arrests and loss of life.
Hope and pray that better sense prevails and the matter is handled with maturity while addressing the concerns of the people.
Those supporting what I see as the corrupt rulers of Pak,I hope truth & justice prevail. To the regime that has kept Khan imprisoned, may Allah bring justice & defeat the oppressors.People of Maqbuza Kashmir & AJK continue to stand with Khan & his vision.#کشمیر_کی_آواز_بند_نہ_کرو

@MirwaizKashmir For the 8th consecutive year, Muslims were denied Eid prayers at Eidgah Srinagar, while Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was again placed under house arrest. Every year the same painful pattern repeats. For Allah’s sake, stop hurting our religious sentiments. Let us pray in peace.#kashmir
For the 8th consecutive year, Muslims of Kashmiris have been denied the right to offer Eid prayers at the historic Eidgah/Jama Masjid, and I have been placed under house arrest. On the revered and celebratory occasion of Eid , Muslims of Kashmir are greeted with barricades, restrictions, locked gates and intimidation.
This is not governance; it is a systematic assault on our religious identity, dignity and fundamental rights which deeply hurts us.
It is very unfortunate that children in Kashmir are growing up without witnessing the spiritually uplifting Eid prayers at Eidgah and the festivities thereof. An entire generation is being deprived of knowing their traditions and making memories that have shaped our collective life for centuries.
But let those in power know that no power on earth can erase the deep spiritual bond people of Kashmir share with Eidgah, Jama Masjid and their religious institutions. Faith cannot be imprisoned or suppressed through force.

Just 4%.
And this candidate is doing MD Anaesthesia in J&K, a branch linked directly with critical care and life-saving decisions. This is not a joke anymore. This is the collapse of merit, accountability and public trust in the healthcare system. Lakhs of deserving students sacrifice years of their lives for these exams, only to watch the system reward mediocrity while punishing hard work. When a patient enters an operation theatre, they don’t ask for category, politics or vote banks. They pray for competence. Healthcare cannot survive on compromises.
The public deserves qualified, capable doctors.
Enough is enough.

Seeing students in uniforms roaming around Zero Bridge and the roads behind Paras Hospital during school hours, with some behaving in ways that don’t reflect discipline or respect, is honestly worrying. Schools and parents need to pay more attention. As citizens we can (1/2)
