More of these types of stories should be written about SpaceX’s IPO.
Thousands of folks who would traditionally not had access to ownership in a company are about to have an awesome outcome.
I had the good fortune to be able to a few hundred welders and technicians. Most will make 6 and 7 figures.
Capitalism is awesome 🚀
Evidence against the current interpretation of birthright citizenship (being challenged by the Trump admin before SCOTUS):
If anyone who is born on US soil is automatically a citizen, then why did Congress need to enact a statute granting citizenship to Native Americans?
The execution across Elon Musk’s companies right now is operating at an unprecedented scale
• SpaceX — The largest IPO in history expected around June 12
• xAI — Grok V9 (1.5T parameters) launching mid-month to push the frontier
• Tesla — Unsupervised FSD Robotaxis actively scaling across Texas
• Optimus — Production lines spinning up this year
• Neuralink & Starship — Blindsight implants and full orbital reuse both incoming
This is civilizational-level progress. We are living in the most interesting time in human history. This is a literal turnaround
Another massive L for Chicago.
In 2014, George Lucas picked Chicago for a $1 billion privately funded museum for his legendary collection - Star Wars artifacts, Norman Rockwell paintings, etc. Zero taxpayer dollars.
A left-wing nonprofit (“Friends of the Parks”) sued, claiming a parking lot was sacred “public trust land.” After years of delays, Lucas said screw it and took the whole thing to LA.
Opening this September. It looks incredible.
Meanwhile, Chicago rammed through the Obama Presidential Center on 19.3 acres of historic Jackson Park.
• Originally ~$300M → now $850M (nearly 3x over)
• Promised 2021 opening → now opening June 2026 (5 years late)
• Promised $470M endowment so taxpayers wouldn’t get stuck → only ~$1M deposited
One museum Chicago blocked.
One museum Chicago rammed through.
Chicago’s priorities on full display.
The first episode of the @forallmankind_ spinoff, STAR CITY, was MAGNIFICENT. My god, these two shows dance on the grave of the TREK swill Secret Hideout peddled to us, and will continue to shove down our throats. If only STRANGE NEW WORLDS had these writers! TREK was done DIRTY.
Five innocent people are dead in Virginia.
Among them a 13 year old girl. A 7 year old boy.
They were killed when a bus slammed into stopped traffic.
The driver was an immigrant from China who does not speak English.
Can't read road signs. Can't communicate with law enforcement.
New York State gave him a commercial license anyway.
Democrat-run states handing out CDLs to unqualified drivers need to be held accountable.
The federal government is now investigating New York's licensing records.
It's long overdue.
Praying for the victims and their families. 🙏🏻🇺🇸
Only 3 SP in MLB history have achieved the following in the first 18 starts of their career:
ERA below 2.50
More than 100 K’s
Fewer than 30 Walks
Paul Skenes. Stephen Strasburg. Parker Messick. 🤯
If you’re pulling into a gas station this Memorial Weekend, complaining about the inconvenience of paying more at the pump…consider the sacrifice of the soldier, sailor, or Marine, making their sacrifices for our lives and our freedom. Exchange your complaint for a prayer.
“We gave up our yesterdays for your tomorrows.”
98-year-old World War II veteran David Yoho delivered an emotional message at the WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C. as Americans gathered to honor the more than 400,000 U.S. service members who died during the war.
Standing before the crowd in the rain, Yoho urged younger generations to remember the sacrifices made by veterans and to keep telling their stories long after they’re gone.
“Tell them it was a 16-year-old boy in the hearts and mind and body of a 98-year-old veteran of World War II.”
