Shortly after rounding off his engagement in Kaduna State, Vice President Kashim Shettima @officialSKSM flew into Jos and proceeded straight to the wedding reception of the daughter of the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang @CalebMutfwang, Nanbam Mutfwang, and Jeremiah Ayodele, held at Lang Field Leisure Park Barkin Ladi road, Jos.

The Vice President's presence symbolized both the goodwill of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT and the importance of the institution of marriage in fostering unity among Nigerians.

The Vice President, who was accompanied by the Governors of Borno and Kaduna States, Babagana Umara Zulum @ProfZulum and Uba Sani @ubasanius, was received at the event by the Plateau State Governor; the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa; the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro; the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda; former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Idris Wase; the Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Professor Ayo Omotayo; among other top federal and state government officials.

The Vice President has returned to Abuja.
