Crypto payments in India will need regulatory support.
That said, India already has one of the most sophisticated fiat payment systems in the world. We should be proud of that and continue supporting the innovation that is UPI 💪
Where regulations can make a big impact is in international payments. Stablecoin guidelines could open the door for an INR Stablecoin, helping the ₹ find new onchain use cases.
