BSTC automotive is dedicated to the education of the whole person. Focusing on character, attitude and the soft skills needed to be a successful employee.
In these difficult times, we could use some good news!! Joanna Mae wasn’t satisfied with just 8 @ASE entry level certifications, she wanted all 9. Thank you @BCPS_Education for figuring out how to make it happen. #LearningNeverStops#nothingshouldeverstopyou
Industry partners play such an important role for our @BCPS_Education students. Thanks to all who serve on our advisory committee and give our student techs opportunities not available everywhere. @BedfordEconDev thank you to!!! https://t.co/3VbVwPnDWz
5 class of 2020 grads worked all summer to pass the Va State Inspection license exam. It takes hard work and dedication to obtain it even when your not dealing with a pandemic. Thanks Troopers Patrick and Adkins. @VSPPIO@BCPS_Education
@VSPPIO you have a lot of troopers to be proud of, but @BSTCBedford@BCPS_Education@bstcauto owe a special thanks to Trooper Patrick and Trooper Adkins for their tireless dedication to today’s young aspiring automotive technicians. You are not told enough...Thank you!!
Be aware of the new @APIenergy marks added on May 1st. New "shield" to replace the "starburst" for 0-W16 oils and the introduction of API Service SP which is backwards compatible to SN, SN Plus and earlier.
We love our wrench game!! student engagement is off the charts in this Virtual training environment. Student techs can actually perform competencies without ever being in the shop. But there is no substitute for the real thing.
No matter the environmental conditions, learning never stops. We couldn't be happier to provide accessible training to CTE programs on the topics that matter most.

We're back this week with our "Weekly" Zoom meeting tonight at 8PM CDT. The link can be found on the Facebook page or message me. Hope to see you there!
Want an example of continuity of learning? How about 5 “graduated” seniors taking and passing the Va. State Inspectors license test. Not because it’s a “school thing” but because it’s an “adulting thing”. Thank you @VSPPIO Virginia State Police and (especially Trooper Patrick)
Thank you to everyone who joined in on tonight's meeting. We talked with @johngardnertv about how he got started and how he came to be on @MotorTrendTV , we talked about entry-level tech pay, @MyFathersShop talked about entry-level skills & talked live work and donations.
