Thank you for reaching out. I was in Sioux Falls and staying at a Springhill suites location. At 10:30 PM at night I had a man with a key card open my door. I was getting ready for bed and so didn’t know what was going on so I called down to the front desk and they just gave me excuses, but said that they had given another customer a key to my room thinking it was empty. There was no apology. There was no conversations. I reported it in the morning to the person at the desk and they said they didn’t know anything about it. I stay in Marriott a lot as I travel for work and it just wasn’t consistent with the service I’ve been given in the past.
Property taxes effectively require homeowners to pay rent to the government. Constitutional protections for Florida homeowners require approval of the voters in 2026. In the meantime, Floridians need relief. I am today proposing a plan that will result in—on average—$1,000 rebate checks for each homestead as a discount on their property taxes. If the Legislature acts on this plan now, we can get this done this year. Let’s get this done for the people of Florida this session.
I am once again begging @RobertKennedyJr@BrookeLRollins to reinstate Country of Origin Labeling on beef! Let our American ranchers differentiate their product from foreign meat and then watch how they THRIVE!
Property taxes are local, not state. So we’d need to do a constitutional amendment (requires 60% of voters to approve) to eliminate them (which I would support) or even to reform/lower them…
We should put the boldest amendment on the ballot that has a chance of getting that 60%…
I agree that taxing land/property is the more oppressive and ineffective form of taxation…
groundbreaking technology that treats colon cancer by converting cancer cells into a state resembling normal colon cells without destroying them. This innovative approach aims to minimize side effects and reduce the likelihood of cancer recurrence.https://t.co/RN0wUkPmQB @theNCI@Neuromics
For decades, the food and beverage industry has made massive profits by enticing children to consume unhealthy products purposely designed to be overeaten.
The time has come for the FDA to stop dragging its feet on addressing the obesity and diabetes epidemics in America.
