I can vaguely comprehend a person deciding they want to plaster their name and face on everything possible. It's WEIRD, but everyone needs a hobby. It's these enablers like Bessent, nodding and cheering along, that are the real freaks in this show.
Is it a good idea when people are struggling to afford gas and groceries?
Bessent on putting Trump on a $250 bill: "I don't think there's anything untoward about having the President of the United States, the person who was President of the United States, on the 250th anniversary bill."
for no reason whatsoever, I'm plugging a short film a made a few years ago because I really love it and didn't promote it enough at the time. here's a teaser I cut for it. go watch it here:

A judge has ruled that corporations can vote in some Delaware elections.
Delaware Superior Court Judge Craig Karsnitz said the town of Fenwick Island was not diluting human votes by allowing companies and other legal entities that own property to cast votes in municipal elections.
These "legal entities" and corporations make up about 12% of registered voters in the town.
In total Delaware has far more corporations chartered in the state than residents.
Judge Karsnitz rejected the constitutional arguments of the ACLU, including the claim that "entity" or corporate voting dilutes the political power of living people.
Actually, you misunderstand the purpose of the long shower. I'm not doing anything in there. I am literally staring into nothingness and using the sensory input of falling water to temporarily wash away some of the horror of corporeal human life.

FBI Director Kash Patel look into President Trump’s eyes to tell him how much he inspires law enforcement.
“Mr. President, you inspire them 24/7, 365 You give them the resources that they need and you know, they know that you have their back, and that is a changing dynamic in this country and that's why you saw a brave Secret Service agents respond immediately, swiftly, subdue and take down the suspect and safeguard the lives of thousands of individuals at that hotel.”
The documented record across independent outlets: kept from the situation room during the rescue, briefed with explosion clips instead of strategic intelligence, shocked by the Strait closure his military had warned him about, contradicting his own Energy Secretary publicly the same day.
Graham's constitutional point cuts through the noise: aides managing information around the president may be well-intentioned. Schlesinger did the same with Nixon in 1974. But Americans elected the president, not the aides. When unelected staff are effectively filtering executive reality to protect the functioning of government from the executive, that is not a management solution. That is a constitutional problem wearing the clothes of one.
Genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Tim Heidecker and Connor O’Malley have been asymptotically approaching it, but no one has achieved this.
Trump rants that his ballroom will feature "Bomb Shelters, a State of the Art Hospital and Medical Facilities, Protective Partitioning, Top Secret Military Installations, Structures, and Equipment, Protective Missile Resistant Steel, Columns, Roofs, and Beams, Drone Proof Ceilings and Roofs, Military Grade Venting, and Bullet, Ballistic, and Blast Proof Glass."
"The Ballroom is deeply important to our National Security, and no Judge can be allowed to stop this Historic and Militarily Imperative Project," he adds.
With this post by Trump the entire practical plausibility for Catholic Integralism in the United States (as advanced by figures like Patrick Deneen, Adrian Vermeule, and others) has for all intents and purposes conclusively *disintegrated* if it ever existed in the first place.

Trump: “A big day for World Peace! Iran wants it to happen, they’ve had enough! Likewise, so has everyone else! The United States of America will be helping with the traffic buildup in the Strait of Hormuz … We’ll be loading up with supplies of all kinds, and just ‘hangin’ around’ in order to make sure that everything goes well. I feel confident that it will. Just like we are experiencing in the U.S., this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
A federal judge just ruled that videos of DOGE staffers must stay up — and they are devastating.
Under oath, they couldn't define DEI. They admitted they never reduced the deficit. And they wiped out $100 million in humanities grants — including a Holocaust documentary — using ChatGPT.
The regime tried to bury this. It didn't work.

What’s happening at airports around the US should bother you. Even if you’ve never been on a plane, even if you have no plans to go on a plane. This is so much more than just a longer time in line.
One of the elements of fascism is the complete erosion of all institutions…
