@jmhorp The math doesn’t include senior freezes which are lead to pretty massive breaks in some areas. But I agree it’s implausible to do this from a revenue basis. If you wanted to differentiate between homeowners it should be primary vs secondary/rental property.
@KAnt327@CHGO_Bears@AdamHoge@Xfinity They should do what they think best but what they decide here will show what they value most about owning the team.
@RickeyB1111@CHGO_Bears@AdamHoge@Xfinity I don’t begrudge them as that is the family’s wealth, if they move to Indiana it just makes it perfectly clear what they value most when it comes to owning the team.
@CHGO_Bears@AdamHoge@Xfinity I understand that the bears are saying it’s tax certainty but at the end of the day they are making a business decision here to enrich themselves. All else equal they don’t want to be there and vast majority of fans don’t want them there . Illinois government looks worse though.
@CHGO_Bears@AdamHoge@Xfinity What a disaster. Bears look greedy, Illinois looks incompetent and Indiana taxpayers on the hook for the stadium they don’t want. Nobody wins.
@faryarshirzad Are you worried about duration mismatch? The reason government MMFs work is because they are investing in ultra short duration. Are there restrictions on durations of underlying treasuries? There are some very wide Bid/offer spreads on longer dated or off the run treasuries.
