When I call this the biggest group of losers I've ever seen, I'm not saying they're the worst Orioles team I've ever seen. I've watched Orioles teams lose 108, 110, 115 games. Those teams were terrible. They were overmatched. They just weren't good enough.

That's not what I mean by "losers."

This team has talent. That's what makes it so infuriating. They have enough talent to win, and yet over and over again, when there's an opportunity to seize a game, seize some momentum, make a run, whatever it is, they find a way not to do it.

Those 100-loss teams lost because they were bad. This team feels like it has learned how to lose. That's the difference. I've seen worse Orioles teams. I don't know that I've ever seen an Orioles team this good be this committed to finding ways to lose.

@Orioles I have been an Orioles fan since 1979. This team is the worst I have ever watched. Ownership is clueless, Elias is not self aware and has no clue, and this manager is weak and ineffective. No development of talent and hitting approach is bush league.
