@TimBontemps Has OKC as a franchise given up the history and stats of the old SuperSonics? And if/when the new Seattle SuperSonics arrive, will they pick up the original franchise history?
It's not obvious why a waitress in America should have to pay significantly more for sneakers so that they can be made in a factory in the U.S. employing 200 robots and 12 people, rather than one employing 500 people in Vietnam.
On the Warriors+/- pod, @ThompsonScribe suggested the @warriors rest everyone vs. Brooklyn on Mon (incl. @StephenCurry30 ) in order to set up the big matchup vs. @okcthunder on Wed. Instead they played everyone on Mon (3rd game in 4 days), lost, and now will rest everyone and lose in the OKC game on Wed. Now 0/2 here instead of 1/2 with chance for a big conf win vs. OKC. Gotta listen to Marcus. Sad! cc @timkawakami@anthonyVslater
@NateSilver538 What approval rating is even realistically possible in modern politics? Isn’t it also true that high 30s/low 40s is the ceiling for *any* president given modern polarization? If the ceiling is low 40s, for example, then the strategy would nearly always be for GOP or Dems to replace their incumbent candidate.
@jeffiel Just gonna put this right here. It’s time to restore another global news icon. To claim its rightful place on the Mt Rushmore of journalism.

@957thegame Bigger reality: the 2020 draft in *all sports* was bad due to Covid: (a) fewer games played (b) weird disruptive college schedules & (c) limited in-person scouting & workouts of draft prospects for pro teams. NFL QBs taken that year are equally bad as Wiseman.
@957thegame Tell us who else the Warriors should picked at no. 2 in that 2020 draft? Haliburton is the only franchise star after 2 and he went no. 12. Ten other teams passed on him. Fact: 2020 was a bad draft. Aside from Edwards at 1 and Haliburton at 12 there are zero franchise stars.
