Can I be honest? “Christian” X makes me want to run fast & far from the church. The misogyny, the racism, the politics, the perversion, the spiritual abuse, the division…it is a sad state of affairs.
If you call yourself a Christian, ask yourself: did my actions show it today?
Trying to think charitably about the M. Spanglers of the world, and I thought how pitiable it is to promote a white church when all the reformed churches are 95%+ white. And, the coloreds they have are largely conformed to what Spangler would call Euro culture. #realitycheck
@niennas_light@BookwormNerdist@spanglermt Did you read this? Spangler’s ramblings are littered with contradictions and generalizations. All he is doing is “politely” justifying racism. https://t.co/fA9igFqzo1
@spanglermt@GregSGrice I have, unfortunately, read your articles on Christian Race Realism and I am truly baffled by the adamant and unwavering justification of blatant, harmful racism. You sir are a mockery of Christian faith. I am saddened for your soul.
@_Link_ It is insightful that you won’t answer my questions.
This being an alt account has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Stop evading.
P.S. *you’re 😘
@_Link_ Last, yet certainly not least, no I can’t link any tweets that show I’ve been consistently in opposition because 1.) I don’t have to for you to understand the point 😂 and 2.) this is the first time I’ve encountered such blatant racism in ministry
@_Link_ Again, race-specific ministry isn’t the issue.
Race-exclusive ministry that perpetuates the idea of “superior” and “inferior” races is.
I cannot name any race specific ministries for white people because the majority of ministries in the US are predominantly white as-is
@_Link_ I am simply seeking clarification. You claimed the PCA’s African American division was exclusive. I’m asking you if that statement is factually true. If so, yes I would condemn it. I haven’t seen any evidence of it being exclusive and therefore no, I do not.
@_Link_ I will gladly answer them.
I do not deny he may receive physical threats. The same could be said of a black preacher at a black church.
How does that justify denying a person access to church because of their race?
If God has ordained it, will He not protect it?
