Training ⛑️
The Rope Technicians spent the day at Barmouth Slabs looking at abseiling and ascending techniques. It’s essential that the team can move up or down the rock face quickly and safely during a rescue to enable them to access a casualties location.

Training ⛑️
Last night's training scenario was an injured runner on difficult terrain below Cadair Idris, accompanied by a distressed family member who also had a minor injury. It is important for the team to consider the bigger picture on rescues.
If you found yourself in trouble in the mountains, would you know what to do? Ring 999, ask for the Police and then Mountain Rescue 🚨
Pe byddech chi’n mynd i drafferth yn y mynyddoedd, fyddech chi’n gwybod beth i’w wneud? Deialwch 999, a gofyn am yr Heddlu, yna Achub Mynydd
We are pleased/relieved to note that he remains an active member and assures us that he will still be "found drinking coffee in Mobile 1."
The position of Chair has been taken on by Ian P, and we wish him all the best in his new role. Big boots etc. etc.
Diolch yn fawr Dave
A poignant moment at last nights AGM as Dave W stood down as chair of the Team.
DW is our longest serving member by a country mile, and spent at least 45 years in the role of either Leader or Chair of the Team.
@LufcZovic Nice enough lad but wouldn’t get into the team now maybe on the bench to cover injuries but still if we can get good money for him then great news for Leeds.
