Approximately 10,000 people were forced to abandon their homes following violent military raids in villages surrounding Depayin, Sagaing Region, yesterday morning. According to local testimony, junta troops launched an invasion of around 20 villages 1/2
The NUG accepts the jurisdiction of the ICC with respect to international crimes committed in Myanmar territory since 1 July 2002. The declaration was lodged in accordance with article 12(3) of the Statue of ICC on lasy 17 July, 2021.
The junta is “working to block the flow of funding” to @NUGMyanmar & other anti-junta organizations “by shutting down mobile banking accounts and forcing private lenders to submit daily reports on account activity.”
