This week a Serco employee was charged with misconduct in public office.

This sets a clear precedent.

Those acting as public servants can be held accountable when abusing the public’s trust.

Serco is placing dangerous illegal migrants - including foreign sex offenders - into the heart of British communities.

Directly endangering our women and girls.

Everyone is aware of these cases. 

Be it the three men who gang raped a woman on Brighton beach in October 2025.

Or the Ethiopian illegal migrant who was found guilty of touching and trying to kiss a 14-year-old schoolgirl in Epping.

Or the brutal murder of Rhiannon Whyte, who was stabbed with a screwdriver 23 times by a Sudanese illegal migrant. 

These men should never have been here, yet were housed by firms like Serco among vulnerable people at taxpayer expense.

In December I announced that Reform UK would form a dedicated police taskforce to review the actions of public servants giving asylum to dangerous illegal migrants.

Today I confirm that given this new precedent, the task force will extend to Serco employees.

Under a Reform Government, any Serco employee found to have housed or facilitated the housing of dangerous migrants near the vulnerable can expect to be investigated and potentially prosecuted for misconduct in public office.

We are putting every one of them on notice.
