As someone who is 14.5 months sober, I can say if he admits to having an alcohol problem/self medicating “remembering stuff correctly” isn’t going to be his strength. He can’t use his alcohol problem as an excuse for his messiness while simultaneously having a “crystal clear” memory of the events when the timeline was overlayed on top of each other. It’s possible he doesn’t “recall” the activity because he was blacked out fucking drunk.
