@RossDellenger ** NCAA member schoolsโ decision ** It wasnโt the NCAAโs decision. You must have no fucking clue how the NCAA legislative process works
@heitner Itโs called the Age Based Eligibility rule, not the Five for Five rule. You must not actually read any of the rules adopted by NCAA member schools
@samcehrlich Fuck Charlotte Sweeney!!!! This is ridiculous. And her order doesnโt even call the rule by its proper name- itโs the age Based Eligibility model, not the Five Year Rule.
@AbeFromanKing99@samcehrlich Umm, did you forget about the chief justice Roberts replaced???? Rehnquist was nominated by Reagan and turned into a liberal when he became Chief Justice. Roberts is a fucking awesome saint. His narrow decisions and willingness to view both sides of an issue are legendary
@STEEL289@samcehrlich And DSAs were stupid and never should have been a part of that settlement either. Part of another dumb cunt Judge in Wilken who had absolutely no fucking clue what that case was even about. Fundamentally didnโt understand the main points of the case
@STEEL289@samcehrlich That was agreed on in the House settlement. Changes to the settlement would need to be agreed upon by House plaintiff/defendants lawyers.
Other judges and courts have no standing to modify a settlement agreement
@NILnotNLI Some people take advantage of student-athletes far worse than the NCAA ever has. And in the same breathe argue that they are fighting for studentsโ rights. Bullshit
Illinois Democrats preach about home affordability and complain about rising rent rates. Then they hand us the largest property tax bills in America.
Guess what a landlords do when property taxes go up. They raise the rent to pay for it!
Enough is enough. Illinois is never getting fixed under Democrat leadership. Give our state a chance โฆ vote red!!!!

The NCAA's new eligibility policy has attracted a flood of new lawsuits, despite being designed to stop them.
