@David_Khait According to MARTA's own website, they have over 300 sworn police officers. While some of these are plainclothes officers, pretty much the only time I see any officers are in MARTA squad cars driving around town.
@thatsKAIZEN Sorry, but that's just a lot of words to cover up a system designed to not be trustworthy. Where fraud is encouraged, and indeed subsidized, it flourishes.
“The Thing” director John Carpenter praises Keith David as an “astonishing actor” while honoring him at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

@CaryKelly11 I typically buy the "freshly ground" chuck at my local grocery. I wonder what the chances are that it's not all ground chuck? It's 80/20 and pretty tasty for smashburgers. Part of the appeal for me is that it's also fairly inexpensive, and I can buy just what I need.
@PhilHollowayEsq I agree. The thing is that I can't imagine the jury would have acquitted him without the clerk interference. I watched most of the trial, and I had no doubt.
@POTAActivator Man, I can remember driving on the FL turnpike during love bug season. It's mesmerizing until you stop to see and smell the carnage. Yuck.
@scottmcnealy Don't forget better music, better movies, and the ability to somewhat live in peace in-the-moment without the constant interruption of slack messages or texts. Every generation laments change but everything is different now.
@PhilHollowayEsq@R_A_Belcher Road blocks with license and registration checks used to be a fairly common occurrence here in the '80s and '90s. No more.
@TrainsMagazine From https://t.co/HMPJYcFtk5: "An incident has taken place on the Canyon Spirit train this morning, which has caused the train to come to a stop."
From Mr. Rogers: Can you say euphemism? I knew you could!
@R_A_Belcher Color me skeptical. Delta could easily run a basket of pre-chilled mini-cans or water bottles to people who want them. I don't drink soda any more, but I see Delta risking becoming the next Ryanair experience, especially with Spirit customers on the hunt for a new carrier.
@CommandoSense2@CaryKelly11 I've switched from using onions to shallots. I thinly slice the shallots, but them directly on the griddle to get a bit of color, then smash burgers on top of them (kind of a poor-man's Oklahoma-style burger). So good, although even plain patties can be great.
@MartinCothran Loved it, and the title sequence/music was great. I also enjoyed the Quest-inspired Venture Bros. on CN, but not sure I would watch that with a grandson, depending on his age.
