I happen to live in a more Republican area. I attend church. We’ve talked for weeks about what we can and are doing to mitigate people going hungry.

The Republicans haven’t cut anything in the process of the government shutting down. The subsidies to healthcare voted on during COVID expired. It’s going back to pre-COVID structure.

@dennisbmurphy @charise_lee The Democrats didn’t end the filibuster when they could have. Why not? Neither side wants to give it up because it benefits them more often than not. It about power. I’m not saying I agree with it but it isn’t a partisan issue - the filibuster.
