The Sameer Project used to provide 3,000 rice meals a day, which was reduced to a 1,000 then 500 and now we only do 200 meals a day. This is due to lack of funding and reduction in donations, support: https://t.co/5RLjRmeVMo

On October 11th, the Sameer Project gave out 200 meals of rice to Al Noor Camp in Qarara, Khan Younis. The cost with 11% commission was $1,151. Each meal feeds 2-3 people so this distribution fed around 500-600 people. The Sameer Project has the capacity to distributed thousands of meals or do multiple community kitchens per day.
