Today, we hosted a team from the African Development Bank(#AfDB) Uganda joint Mission to discuss the #AfDB Country Strategy Paper completion Report[2022-2026] and dialogue on the new Country Strategy Paper [2027-2031]. The @AfDB_Group remains a key development partner, with its Country Strategy Papers closely aligned to Uganda’s Vision 2040 and the Government priorities.

The meeting discussed a number of development aspects. These include:
Alignment of #NDPIV to the budget; key constraints to high growth structural transformation, job creation and how to overcome them;
Priority infrastructure and productivity investments needed to support competitiveness and private sector- led growth; and institutional coordination and implementation capacity.
The meeting also discussed Priority areas for the Bank's focus under its new CSP so as to maximise transformational development impact.
