Smashing Conferences, friendly, practical events for web designers and developers. Organized by Vitaly, Amanda, Charis, Mac, Jan & the good ol' Smashing Family.
For @smashingconf talk preparation, I'm on the hunt for fun game animation examples...
What are some of your favourite games with interesting interactions?
I love the gem collecting in Dave the Diver, cute how the little bits of rocks pop off in random directions. ⛏️
We’re moving away from this platform soon, but we’d love to stay connected! <3

#SmashingConf NYC 2024 was amazing! ✨ Such a great balance of topics and fantastic speakers.
Day 2 highlights included @scottjehl‘s talk on web components, @JoshWComeau‘s CSS insights, @TejasKumar_ proving everyone can be an AI engineer, and @jessicahische finding the details.
In terms of organization, my top conferences are:
- @smashingconf
- @jsheroes
- @bejs_
Others get a lot of things right and do them well, but these 3 inspire awe by going the extra mile with finesse.
What a presenter and emcee look like when dropping design system dad jokes that bomb.
