As President, I would read 10 letters a day sent to me by ordinary Americans. At the Obama Presidential Center, we’ll have some of the letters I read — and responded to — every night. I still get emotional reading them, and it’s one of my favorite exhibits.
Actor Rusty Goffe, who played the Oompa Loompa in the original 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, was recently spotted at The Chocolate Expo singing the famous “Oompa Loompa” song he sang in the film.
Michelle Obama praises Dave Chappelle and calls him one of her "favorite" podcast guests so far.
“Dave Chappelle is one of the smartest people on the planet, the funniest, all get out. Once he became himself, he moved back, bought a farm and has raised his family on this farm. One of the questions was, ‘Why here?’ And he said, ‘I wanted to have the financial freedom to be courageous.’ And I was like, ‘Bars,’ you know? And that’s the truth, and what I would say to young people and to my girls: Live smaller than you need to.”

I had the privilege of working with Peabo Bryson on the @somma.cruise last year. One evening, I noticed him sitting alone on the deck, so I joined him. We ended up talking for hours.
He shared incredible stories, spoke passionately about his music, and had such a deep love for his craft. I am so grateful to have had that special moment with him.
To his beautiful wife, son, and entire family, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Peabo’s legacy will live on forever through his timeless music and the countless lives he touched. My deepest condolences to everyone who loved him.
I’m so sorry to learn that Peabo Bryson has transitioned. I first met him 48 years ago and found him to be so cool. That impression only grew with time. So cool and so classy. My condolences to his family, friends and fans. You did your thing Bruh and you did it well. Now RIP🙏🏾🕊️
