As with anything, this has encouraged a range of responses, and the only point I would add and underline is: I don't know what the moral way to live in this world is.
I basically like my life, but I also feel that living in the world right now - I mean, especially right now, but really all the time - requires a level of radical compartmentalization that gives me the constant low-level burning sensation of going insane. Anyone else feel this??
every day i see 100 new things that make me think why are we wasting our precious time on earth being so awful and evil and for what? it makes me so fucking sad
the state of islamophobia in america is so fucking unchecked man. none of the shit you people are saying about zohran should be acceptable in civil society
As a student of History and observer of people, a lot of you seem to only view violence in the physical form. That way of thinking is dangerous. It allows you to forget poverty is violence. That denying you healthcare is violence. That polluting your water and air is violence.
@Riley_Gaines_ You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser. You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive OR creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category IN ALL sports!!
But instead… You bully them…
One things for sure is no one in sports is safe with you around!!!!!
🚨A U.S. born citizen was arrested in Florida for entering the state as an “unauthorized alien.” His mother and a community advocate showed his birth certificate during a hearing in Leon County. The judge said she had no authority to release him.
On this International Day of Transgender Visibility, remember that offering civil rights and protections to our transgender community in the United States doesn’t take anything away from anybody and beware of anyone who tells you otherwise. #TransDayOfVisibility
Strangely, it's moments like this that I feel most lucky to be queer. I think about our elders. How hopeless they must have felt. How easy it would have been to give up. But they fought for the life I get to live today. What an insult it would be, to them, to succumb to despair
No DNA evidence. Jury members, even the prosecutor circled back saying the verdict was a mistake. Nobody involved wanted this man to die. We have a soulless justice system in this country. This is why the term “black lives matter,” as simple as it sounds, is so audacious.
