Took my daughters on a college tour. The tour guide started talking about the “male and female identifying communal bathrooms” and MJ goes, “nope I’m not comfortable with any of that.” and we left early.
Some of these colleges make things so easy.
WVU Baseball will always be about the people. The people on the team. The people supporting the team. The people of the state.
We work everyday to be the best, to accomplish great things and to represent a school and state that has given so much to us.
The 2026 @WVUBaseball team is the greatest team in program history. The players who were granted the privilege of wearing WEST VIRGINIA across their chest were the best to ever do it.
Congratulations to these players, this staff, and the best fans in the country. It takes all of us… and we’re just getting started.
Everyone understandably gets a bit nervous when an agent of Israel starts threatening -- I mean, "predicting" -- a major mass casualty terrorist attack on American soil just days after the American President announces a deal that enrages all of Israel.
Once again he is wrong on all counts, and inverts the truth completely.
Capitalism and fascism are opposites. Capitalism rests on private property and voluntary trade: the government's only job is to protect rights, and no one may use force. Fascism is government control of nominally private property: the owner keeps the title while the state dictates what he produces, charges, and pays. One forbids force. The other is force. That is not a difference of "pretending." It is the difference between freedom and the gun.
And here is the irony. By his own definition, "a system enforced to protect the powerful," he is describing the very thing he advocates. Every post he makes demands the state seize, ban, or dictate: tax the producer, nationalize the industry, override the contract. That is government force directing private property. That is fascism's actual mechanism, whatever label he gives it.
He calls capitalism fascism while championing the controls that are fascism. He hasn't identified the enemy. He is it.
• You and your friends would steal 80% of it
• you’d come in 300% over budget and still spend 3x what you taxed
• you’d start 2 useless departments that soak up billions yearly forever going forward
• the entire mess would be riddled with bribes, fraud, and fake daycares
• you’d be proposing a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and then permanent wealth tax to deal with the “gross underfunding” of your corrupt “childcare for everyone” empire.
The icing on the cake? Childcare costs in the US would increase by 40% in 2 years.
Having grown up in Saudi Arabia, I have some 'right wing' views that I didn't realise were political, let alone right wing, until I moved to UK and found many disagree with them.
These include people being able to keep the money they earn and punishing serious crimes severely.
$300 billion is 5 X as much as Congress spends on our roads & bridges annually. I’m tired of winning.
The U.S.A. “undertakes with regional partners to develop a definitive, mutually agreed plan with at least $300 billion for the reconstruction and economic development of” Iran.
@Smefner@RockChartrand He paid 47% of his income or $11B on $23.5 B income in 2021. Between 2014 to 2018 he had $1.5 B in income and paid $455 M, or about 30%.
Someone creates a trillion dollars in value, generates billions in tax revenue, employs hundreds of thousands of people, and provides products used around the world.
Socialists: "But what has he contributed?"
@michaelevknight Ironically, slaves have no use for money.
They don't buy. They don't sell. They don't negotiate. They don't choose.
The more freedom you have, the more useful money becomes.
Donald Trump would have saved himself a world of grief if he had listened to Rand Paul and Thomas Massie, instead of Lindsey Graham and Benjamin Netanyahu.
One of the craziest things about the UK rape gang scandal is that it's largely considered a 'right wing' concern.
In a sane, serious country, it would be completely bipartisan. In fact, it wouldn't even be seen as a political issue, but one of basic justice and morality.
