Following up on today’s stress test... Thank you all for your participation and support!
The chain successfully sustained 10k+ TPS (native) for ~8 hours during epoch 503 (±), processing hundreds of millions of transactions. In the final phase, there was an introduced ERC-20 load, which drove near 100% block utilization.
A couple of observations:
�� 🏆 >90% of validators did not experience a single timeout, highlighting the strength and resilience of the network’s decentralization. This also reinforces that we do not need to sacrifice throughput for decentralization, or vice versa.
→ 📝 Some validators did encounter issues. These are valuable signals, and we encourage operators to review logs and metrics to identify areas for improvement. This was a core objective of this exercise and will help us strengthen the network further.
Big appreciation to the Category Labs team for continuously improving the client. The progress since the last test is leaps and bounds ahead, and they’re only getting started.
