every ad platform sells the same thing.
clicks. impressions. eyeballs on a screen.
none of them sell what actually works. a real human being, in a real place, doing something real for a brand.
i'm Cam. 26. finance degree. zero experience in tech or advertising.
i just filed the LLC for what i believe is the first true ad network for the real world.
here's why i built it:
1. every Craigslist category has been turned into a billion dollar platform.
jobs → LinkedIn. housing → Airbnb. cars → CarGurus. dating → Tinder. services → TaskRabbit.
every category except one.
real world brand gig work. nobody built it. so i am.
2. people are already doing this. they just don't know it.
you wear a branded company shirt to a festival. you hand out samples at an event. you rep a product you love to your friends.
you're already an ad. you're just not getting paid for it.
IRLi changes that.
3. digital advertising is dying and everyone knows it.
AI is flooding the internet with fake content. people trust online ads less every year. influencer marketing is staged. UGC is manufactured.
the real world is the last place people actually pay attention.
4. the agency gap is insane.
brands pay agencies $250,000 for real world campaigns. agencies take 40-60%. the worker who actually shows up gets whatever's left.
IRLi removes the agency. completely.
brands post what they need. real people execute it. workers keep their full rate. IRLi takes 20% from the brand.
no agencies. no gatekeepers. infinite inventory. because real people are everywhere.
this account is for you.
tell me what you want to see. which brands. what campaigns. what would make you trust this.

some updates:
- hired a full stack dev a month ago who said he could do the design also
- failed at the design
- fired yesterday
lesson here: split dev and design up in two parts don’t try to give both to one
first time entrepreneur and founder here
i will be logging everything on here

The most valuable skill sets on the planet right now:
1. people who can set up agents properly, manage them, and run local AI models
2. marketers who know how to build distribution
3. robotics engineers who can do all three: build the hardware, wire in the AI, and source manufacturing etc
4. curators who are good at yapping and can do short form video in their sleep
5. the builder-distributor. The one person who can both ship the product AND get it in front of people
6. IRL community builders
