A company does not win because it is “hardworking.”
It wins because it makes disciplined choices.
It chooses the right markets.
It chooses the right customers.
It chooses the right products.
It chooses the right price points.
It chooses the right channels.
It chooses the right operating model.
It chooses what not to do.
A company cannot serve everyone.
It cannot be everywhere.
It cannot sell everything.
It cannot compete on price, quality, speed, convenience, innovation, distribution, and premium branding all at once.
At least, not sustainably.
So the first work of strategy is to force clarity.
Where exactly are we playing?
Then the second work is to force advantage.
How exactly are we going to win?
For example, a bank can say:
“We want to grow retail banking.”
That is not strategy.
A sharper strategy would be:
“We want to grow with salary earners in urban Nigeria, especially young professionals earning between ₦300,000 and ₦2 million monthly, by offering automated savings, salary-backed lending, and wealth products through a mobile-first experience.”
Now we know the market.
We know the customer.
We know the product set.
We know the channel.
We know the basis of competition.
You broke her. Imagine, God sent you that woman, as a gift, a test to see how you handle her. The one to heal you, love you, to make you complete, the woman to take care of you, who cares about your future, not only in this life but the next too. Both together, the woman who wants nothing but better for you. Who never gave up on you & in return you broke her. You tore her into pieces, you betrayed those beautiful eyes, you made those eyes full of love, cry endlessly.
Let that sink in.
This young Canada 🇨🇦 fan gifted his jersey to the Prime minister Mark Carney after he spotted him in the VIP stands during their World Cup game against Qatar 🇶🇦…. What a gesture 😂❤️
Ismaël Koné has rejoined his #CanMNT teammates at the hotel in Vancouver after surgery to repair a broken leg.
Heartwarming moment — and quite the smile from him — shared here by Canada Soccer.
Barack: You told me all those years ago that you couldn’t promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life. Of course, you outdid yourself and managed to give me both.
Eight years in the crucible, and not once did you melt from the heat. Not once did you let it harden you. Instead, you used it to reveal your truest essence: your stubborn optimism and unflinching courage, your dazzling brilliance and unpretentious decency, your ferocious work ethic and absolutely unshakable moral fiber.
Maturity taught me that not every woman is a Proverbs 31 woman. And that’s okay!
Some are Deborahs: Called to lead, to speak boldly, and to stand on the front lines.
Some are Ruths: Faithful in quiet places, steady when no one is watching.
Some are Esthers: Positioned for influence, courage rising at the exact moment it’s needed.
Some are Marys: Chosen for surrender, carrying purpose before understanding.
Some are Hannahs: Shaped by prayer, strengthened through waiting and tears.
A windfall is not automatically wealth. It only becomes wealth when it starts protecting you, paying you, and improving your ability to earn.
If you somehow find yourself with ₦20M, ₦100M, ₦1.4B or any amount of money you've never received as a lump sum before, your job is simple:
Make sure no one in your bloodline ever has to ask this question again.
Do not just spend it. Convert it into a system.
Here's how to think about it🧵
