I think so.
I think we should rename it Big Harms.

So let me get this right…

You’ve been diagnosed with osteoporosis.
High risk of fracture. Fragile bones.
And what do they give you?
Calcium.

But what’s really going on?

What if the issue isn’t a lack of calcium at all…
What if you’re deficient in vitamin D3?

Because without adequate vitamin D3, calcium cannot be properly absorbed or directed.
Your body responds by raising parathyroid hormone levels.

And what does that do?

It activates osteoclasts, the cells that break bone down.

A Sunday night emergency. Words truly fail us with this situation!!
This poor poor Cane Corso puppy (who we have called BLOSSOM ) was found tied up to a tree with rope, in an emaciated state, and was absolutely terrified, bad enough in itself, but it gets worse , … she has a suspected fractured leg, and has cherry eye in both eyes - there is absolutely no excuse for this it’s heartbreaking 💔💔💔
We are en route to the vets with her right now … she’ll be admitted and kept comfortable overnight, and will see the specialist tomorrow.
This girl has been let down SO badly - we will make sure that she gets everything she needs now, and we will do everything we can for her . PLEASE help us to help her if you can

Today my brother teacher @EnochBurke went before a disciplinary appeal panel.

He was suspended from his job and jailed after refusing to accept transgenderism.

What took place today was shocking.

➡️ By law the panel is to be an “informal hearing”.
➡️ When he arrived he was confronted by a top Employment Barrister as well as a Solicitor from a major Dublin law firm.
➡️The lawyers were acting for the school.
➡️ The presence of lawyers at such an appeal is contrary to law and to Department of Education procedures for dealing with appeals.
➡️ Enoch objected to the presence of these lawyers.
➡️ The Chair of the Disciplinary Appeals Panel, Claire Callanan said to Mr Burke: “We may be wrong and you may be right but we are going ahead nonetheless.”
➡️ When Enoch continued to object, he was removed by prison guards.
➡️ When members of his family who were present objected, they were removed by police.
➡️ Enoch Burke was taken back in a prison van to Castlerea prison.

This is an utterly appalling and unbelievable travesty of justice.

I know we’re asking yet again… but please, someone help Dougie. There must be the right home out there for him 💔

Through no fault of his own, Dougie now urgently needs somewhere safe to go. We cannot let him go back to kennels as he finds that environment incredibly distressing 😞

Dougie doesn’t need walks or pressure. He just needs:

• A quiet, calm home
• A safe space of his own
• A secure garden
• Another dog or dogs in the home
• Someone who is home most of the time
• Minimal visitors

He is a sweet, sensitive boy who will bond closely once he feels safe. An older, quieter household such as a retired person or couple would be ideal 🏡

Poor Dougie has just been so unlucky… and all he needs now is stability and a chance to feel safe.

Daz is an approx 18 month old akita x, Daz came in via the dog warden/council pound and he has not been re-claimed, we have given Daz his name.
Due to Daz being a stray this means we hold no history on him at all.
Since he has been in kennels with us he has been a good boy for us, he is clean in his kennel and does everything outisde, he typically stays in the sun all day sunbathing when he can! When Daz did first come into us he was a bit wary of everything, he is fine now.
Out of the kennel Daz is good on the lead with a slight pull, he doesn't bother with the other dogs here and he isn't palyfull yet, he is more aware of his surroundings at the moment.
Daz will be looking for his furever home and his new owner will need large dog experience and especially experience with the akita breed, we will also be asking for teenagers+ he has come into us in quite good conditon except a little underweight. Daz is putting on weight, he loves his meals and treats but he doesn't like large thick treats, he leaves them!.
Daz is overall a relaxed boy here and gentle with staff.

Sweet girl but scared of the world. She’s has a really rough time. No aggression or management issues. Just overwhelmed.
Her initial dog tests were good and she was seized along with another dog.
