Our internal data shows Claude is accelerating AI development—a possible path to recursive self-improvement, or AI autonomously building a more capable successor.
It’s happening faster than we thought, and the implications deserve greater attention. https://t.co/OVVPJO7VQx
“- It's been months since many researchers at Anthropic hand-wrote code
- The typical Anthropic engineer ships 8x as much code as they did in 2024”
I like how subtle this is.
We just published internal data on how much of Claude's development is already being done by Claude:
- Over 80% of all code merged into our codebase is now written by Claude
- It's been months since many researchers at Anthropic hand-wrote code
- The typical Anthropic engineer ships 8x as much code as they did in 2024
- On the most open-ended engineering tasks, Claude's success rate jumped from ~26% to 76% in 6 months
- When research sessions went off-track, Claude proposed a better next step than the human took 64% of the time
We're not at recursive self-improvement yet, but it could come sooner than most expect. I highly recommend reading the full blog post.
ChatGPT can now help with more of the job search by showing live job listings and freelance work from sources like Indeed, Upwork, Appcast, and elsewhere on the web, with results picked using your experience, skills, and goals to point out roles that might fit, plus links to apply on the original sites
You can also upload or make a resume, adjust it for a specific role, and download it in a clean professional format, with job search open to U.S. users on Free, Go, Plus, and Pro plans and resume formatting available in English worldwide on the web for all plans
Long-form writing works better with a little more space.
Now you can edit longer pieces in full-screen and save them to your Library to come back to later.
Building apps has never been easier.
With Sites, Codex can turn your work, ideas, and plans into an interactive website or app your team can explore, use, and share with a URL.
Rolling out to Business and Enterprise plans, before expanding more broadly.
Our society even the elite ones regard 'studying n researching' as a means to an end. Their idea of education is to reach a level when studying is no longer required n one is able to earn cause of past efforts n degrees
So when they see lawyers reading still they r disgusted 1/n
@vinayaravind It moved on from Muslims years ago. Now we’re at a stage of general apathy and trapped frustration, which lashes out on Muslims, students, etc.
And the gradual decoupling of election results from the administration’s performance ensures there’s no way out.
Another good news from Bengal.
Under the ongoing hawker eviction drive, notices have now started being issued to booksellers in College Street ... or our beloved Boi Para.
Street that dedicated to books. world’s largest 2nd hand book market & India’s largest one.
Congrats. 🥀
For years, I’ve been critical of UPSC’s archaic and obscure selection process.
I realise I was wrong. It’s designed perfectly to filter the kind of civil “servants” they want - hardworking parrots with limited critical thinking who’ll do whatever they’re asked to.
Peak dictatorship
AAP leader @SanjayAzadSln ji was holding a meeting in Allahabad over the NEET paper leaks
ADM and SSP entered the auditorium and started trying to stop the meeting.
Then Sanjay Singh properly explained the law to ADM sahib.
They left with the same humility with which they had come in all their arrogance.
@amitmalviya “Year after year, he spends time interacting with students ahead of their examinations, encouraging them, understanding their anxieties, and forging a bond…”
So only symbolic activities which don’t require any follow-up work, and can be captured on camera. Got it.
