@loutakes_ I think that’s why Kenny Moore prolly has to be a top priority. You can let him play 1v1 in the slot and keep Caleb up top for the time being. He’s been in PHI for a little so the transition with the scheme might be easier

@rjochoa Kenny Moore becomes a must have atp. You’d be able to move him into the slot and have Caleb play the roof for the time being. Not to mention, he’s been on PHI PS, so the transition shouldn’t take as long.

@DemCowboys27 The obvious fix is u sign Kenny Moore off the practice squad. He’s been in that Fangio system for a week now, it’ll make the transition a little smoother. You can play him in the slot, and move Caleb to safety for the time being. Gets bell off the damn field.

@formula_g201 How many more games do the chargers have to lose before they deal Mack? Shoot I’d give them Camden Brown in the deal if I had to. Brown prolly becomes the second best WR on the team the second he steps in the door.

@Marcus_Mosher Mike Tomlin shipped GP out for basically nothing because he was “uncoachable”. Shotty not only has him playing like an all pro, but also I don’t think anyone thought he’d handle the offseason/tag as gracefully as he did. That’s gotta mean something about Shotty

@FootsDaKing @JohnOwning I agree completely. There may be a silver lining with the injuries. With less capable guys maybe forces them to be a more pressure front with a more simplified back end. Keeps assignments simple and just react. When guys get back, that style prolly still suits them even better.

I think the gauntlet of dual threat QBs has kind of limited these rushers. Def more cage rush as opposed to trying to win quick. Good news is aside from TB, rest of the schedule doesn’t have dual threat QBs, so I feel like that’s when we’ll get an idea of these rushers, starting with stroud this week

Saw this and thought we dodged a bullet, but then I saw their backup qb is a poor man’s Lamar Jackson 😭 just when I thought we were done with the dual threat QBs this season. Good news is atleast we don’t have to be the team that plays him first, they’ll be film to look at and attack weaknesses

Week by week I think they’re starting to realize what they do well. The part that sucks is that the stuff they do well is pretty much opposite to the entire Fangio system CP brought over and spend the whole offseason installing. They’re much better being aggressive and letting guys go north and south. They’re much better in the pass game playing more man and matchup zone as opposed to soft drop/tackle defense. So the only hope is that the system is flexible enough for them to make a change

Mcvay lost his team a game because of travel plans and called a shitter last night and lost them another….. I guess he’s going to be fired as well 😂. In reality, both teams just have a lot of injuries they have to navigate. If the cowboys can be 1-2 games above .500 by the time they start getting guys back they’ll be in much better shape.

I will say this, I am so happy to be done with the “guantlet” of dual threat QBs to start the year. Dart, Daniels, and Lamar are the toughest mobile QBs they’ll play all year. So from here on out, should be a lot more true rush opportunities where you don’t have to stay as strict in terms of rush lanes.

@Twatch_Me_Workk People all of a sudden forget how bad the offense looked against good defenses with Mike 😂 couldn’t score on GB, SF, or BAL with Mike, just used to run up the numbers on bad teams. Shotty has these guys scoring 30+ pretty much regardless of opponent.
