Fantastic news for #swifts in #Woking! I'm sure they'll enjoy these new nest boxes in the town centre provided by @wokingcouncil. Officially launched today by the Mayor and Edward Meyer. Equipped with call system and cameras. Will be exciting to see if they take up residence!

The Mayor of Woking, Cllr Beryl Hunwicks, formally opened a new swift, bat and town twinning sign in Woking Town Centre today. The sign provides a nesting chamber for swifts and bats and commemorates Woking’s twinned towns https://t.co/sqajV65QHx #NaturalWoking

Beautiful evening for the #SurreyBirdClub field meeting at #OckhamCommon yesterday. At least two male #nightjars churring and great sightings of birds in flight. Also stonechats posing and Dartford singing 😀

Post-Swift depression is a recognised if under-diagnosed condition and difficult to treat except with a vague cocktail of patience and hint of optimism. A potential cure is now available. When feeling down, the attached will make life just that bit brighter... @HantsIWWildlife
