Sepsis with 2-3 week inpatient stays when had central line infection a couple of times between 2016-2019.

@Dingo__74 Dog was returned to owner, chip was verified. She didn’t refuse to return to owner, she refused to give to AC b/c feared the dog would be euthanized due to their condition at the time. She has since groomed the dog for owner, & offered them lifetime grooming.

Dason also offered to groom lost dog for free, after returning dog to rightful owner. Was literally trying to help save a dog that was left out in freezing cold and snowstorm out of kindness & concern.

NEW: North Carolina woman charged after taking in a stray dog she saw being dumped in the street during a snowstorm

Dason Garner, a vet tech and groomer, saw a Ring video of a labradoodle being dumped on a porch in 21°F

She picked up the dog, took her home, and contacted animal control

Animal control told her to bring the stray in, but Garner refused, saying the dog was too neglected for a shelter

Within a day, she located the dog’s original owner, who said it had been missing for months

The sheriff’s office charged Ashley Baker for abandoning the dog and also charged Garner for refusing repeated requests to surrender it

(AC said not allowed to groom) She didn’t want to turn over to AC in that condition bc feared wouldnt stand chance & would be euthanized.

An owner apparently missing dog for months, another lady deserted dog, Dason rescued dog from frigid temps, returned to rightful owner (matched chip), arranged time w/ owner to groom for free, was charged, threatened more charges if grooms, & now lost her job.

@RobertMania35 @unlimited_ls She did verify chip & returned to owner when discovered who it rightfully belonged to. Also offered & set time for owner to bring dog in for free groom to help dog, but from my understanding owner told not to let Dason groom their dog or more charges would be added.
