@maddenifico@donwinslow Donโt forget about the small businesses who couldnโt afford the 80% Tariff ( 2016 tariff and 2025 was stacked) and are now out of business.
@SethAbramson Itโs midnight and another small business has shut down due to Tariffs. We donโt have the ability to make bags out of gold to gift dear King to waive our 80% tariff. Tariffs are stacked on top of previous tariffs ๐คฏ
@Angry_Staffer Idiots! Destroying small businesses. We would be charged a 86.5 % Tariff at Los Angeles port.
Normal Tariff=6.5 %, 2018 additional Tariff= 25%, 2025 additional Tariff= 55% THE TARIFF is STACKED.
@RepJayapal@nytimes I have been paying a 25% Tariff on cotton bags since 2018. Trumps first Tariffs never went away. Now we have to add 30% on top of 25% =55% Tariff. I have been in business 25 years, started out making handmade bags in USA, Thanks to China I was able to grow business, now, no biz
@Angry_Staffer We have been paying a 25% Trump Tax Tariff since 2018 on branded cotton canvas bags imported from China, Tariff never went away. Retail price increased for US consumers. Many just buy similar cheaper items via Amazon shipped from China for 10 bucks free shipping.
@lauferlaw We have been paying a 25% Trump Tax Tariff on branded reusable cotton canvas bags imported from China since 2018, Tariff never went away, which led to price increases. Consumers now just buy similar cheaper items directly from China via Amazon for 10 bucks, free shipping.
@RachelBitecofer@sandibachom We have been paying a 25% TRUMP TAX on importing reusable cotton canvas bags since 2018!!! Small companies are going out of business because consumers are just buying directly from China on Amazon for 10 bucks free shipping instead of paying $30 after import due to TRUMP TAX
@unusual_whales@lauferlaw We have been paying a 25 % Trump Tariff since 2018 on importing cotton canvas bags, does this 10% Tariff get added to the 25 % Tariff we currently pay? So your reusable cotton tote bag will now cost you $50.
@mcuban We have been paying a TRUMP 25% Tariff since 2018, we raised our prices. Many consumers will just buy a cheap $10 bag off Amazon shipping directly from China. Definitely not same quality or uniqueness. The small businesses are being destroyed by Tariffs. PERIOD
@caslernoel@elonmusk Was just at Los Angeles auto show and it was ALL about the electric car. So many NEW designs and technology. This is Toyota but my favorite was Hyundai Ionic 6.
@BenBrownMass @WHCOS Many companies have gone out of business or switched production to other countries due to Tariffs. The combination of both Tariffs and container cost has just raised prices on consumer products. We started out as a handcrafted business made in America. I know the situation.
@BenBrownMass @WHCOS Itโs been 3 years, if Tariffs create factories in USA then let me know of locations. Tariffs only increase price on customers in USA. This doesnโt hurt China. Especially on small business.
@WHCOS We are a super small business and have been paying a 25% tariff for 3 years, they have not been removed. That with rising container costs make it hard to stay afloat. Over 20 years in business.
