You really have to become okay with being misunderstood. People will perceive you through the limits of their own experiences, assumptions, and insecurities. None of that changes who you are. Stop exhausting yourself trying to correct every false version of you that exists in someone else’s mind.
Zinc in the morning. Magnesium at night. Vitamin D with your first meal. Vitamin B12 in the morning. Do it for 30 days and tell me your energy sleep and mood didn't completely shift.
I can't fuck with people that don't understand the principle of things. Yeah the situation may be small but it's about the principle. Out of all the ways you could move, you choose that way?
I quit smoking weed because it is probably one of the saddest drugs. You probably won’t hit the same rock bottom as alcoholism or other addictions. You can’t overdose and you probably won’t lose your job or your wife or die an early death.
But you’ll wake up one day and entire slices of your life will just be…. Gone.

I BEG YOU. I PLEAD WITH YOU. STOP PLAYING WITH ISIBAMBELELO, LOVE POTIONS, ISIDLISO, IDLISO LOCANSI, LOCKS AND THESE SO-CALLED LOVE ENHANCEMENTS. 🤲🏾
Different names, different bottles, different packaging but the intention can be the same: to interfere with another person's will, emotions, sexual energy or attachment.
And let me tell you something the old people understood very well:
You cannot tie another person's spirit and expect your own spirit to walk away untouched.
You may laugh now.
You may say, “But Gogo, he loves me now.”
Of course it looks beautiful when the person is suddenly obsessed with you.
They call constantly. They cannot stay away. They suddenly want only you. Everything seems perfect.
For a few days. A few months. Maybe even years.
But ask yourself:
WHAT DID YOU PAY FOR THAT LOVE?
Because forcing something to stay is not the same as being loved.
And some people only tell you what they want you to hear.
They will tell you:
"Put this in his food."
"Put this in his drink."
"Use this sexually."
"He will never leave you."
"He will only see you."
But they don't explain the consequences.
They don't tell you what happens when you interfere with somebody else's spiritual and emotional agency.
They don't tell you what happens when the person has an ancestral lineage that does NOT tolerate spiritual interference.
They sell you the bottle.
You inherit the consequences.
Old Gogo wisdom says:
“Ungadlali ngomuntu ongazazi izimpande zakhe.”
Don't play with a person when you don't know their roots.
Because you don't know what stands behind that person.
You don't know their ancestors.
You don't know their spiritual protection.
You don't know what their lineage will tolerate.
And sometimes the person you are trying to control is not spiritually alone.
You are not fighting the person. You may be knocking on a door you have no business opening.
And then years later people come crying:
"Gogo, why does every relationship I enter collapse?"
"Why does nobody marry me?"
"Why does every partner cheat?"
"Why can I never build something stable?"
"Why does my life feel stuck?"
"Why do I keep repeating the same relationship pattern?"
And somebody will tell you, “You are cursed.”
Sometimes people forget to ask what they themselves did years ago.
There are traditional beliefs that spiritual interference can have consequences that surface much later.
The problem you buried in 2018 may come knocking in 2026.
And now you are wondering why every relationship starts beautifully and ends in disaster.
You thought you were securing a husband.
You may have been creating a spiritual battlefield.
🕯️ AND LET ME SAY THIS VERY CLEARLY:
A person who has been spiritually manipulated may eventually discover what was done to them.
And what happens when somebody discovers that their love, attachment or sexual behaviour was manipulated?
ANGER. BETRAYAL. TRAUMA. VIOLENCE. GBV.
You don't know how someone will react when they realise:
"I wasn't choosing this person freely."
This is why I will NEVER encourage people to force love.
Love that needs a leash is not love.
Love that needs a bottle is not love.
Love that needs something secretly mixed into someone's food or drink is not love.
Love that requires you to spiritually imprison another human being is not love.
That is control wearing perfume.
And please don't make the mistake of saying:
"It didn't work, let me increase the dosage."
Then you go to another healer.
Then another one.
Then another product.
Now you are mixing things you don't understand, adding more substances, more rituals, more spiritual interference —because you are desperate for a person to behave the way you want.
That is where foolishness becomes dangerous.
And if someone tells you, “There are no consequences,” ask them to put that promise in writing.
Because the traditional world does not work according to your impatience.
Ancestors are not toys.
Spirituality is not TikTok.
Muthi is not makeup.
I had a session with my therapist recently, and she said to me:
“People who manipulate others while pretending they don’t are dangerous. They’ll lie. They’ll make up stories to justify their behavior. They’ll gaslight. They’ll deflect. They’ll project their insecurities & unresolved hurt onto you. Unfortunately, they’ll do whatever they can to avoid facing themselves. I need you to stop being “nice” and start staying away from people with patterns like that.”
Me: 🥺🥺
The REALEST people are highly selective. They have no desire to be connected to people who operate from jealousy, negativity, wickedness, entitlement, and a lack of integrity. If you pay attention, they are the most isolated, move quietly, and mind their own business.
I used to be naive and believe that if I treated people with kindness, they would naturally give the same energy back. But life taught me a different lesson. You can love people, support them and show them genuine care, but you can’t control who they choose to be. People will reveal themselves through their choices. At the end of the day, actions will always speak louder than words. Pay attention to what people consistently show you, not just what they say.
“Your loss.”
No babe. I have long term friendships. I'm close with my family. I heal without using anyone. I'm well educated. I'm comfortable with my own presence. I can stay single by choice. I can articulate and communicate my feelings well.
I used to think that holding your tongue was a sign of maturity, but I realized that a true sign of growth and maturity is being able to vocalize your feelings in an appropriate manner even if you are angry. Holding your tongue just fosters unexpressed feelings that lead to
I do give up on people. You can’t continuously drain me, disappoint me and disrespect me while expecting unlimited access. I have a heart, but I also have boundaries. I can forgive, understand and give chances but I won’t keep sacrificing my peace for someone who refuses to value it. Sometimes walking away isn’t bitterness. It’s self respect.
My friend drives Uber to support his family. One passenger laughed with him the entire ride, tipped him in cash, shook his hand, and said, "You're the best driver I've had today." Forty minutes later, Uber suspended his account. The reason made no sense...
