I am so excited to share this news! I am going to be hanging out at the Asylum with Timy! It's a great little blog and with our common love of music and reading, we will go together like peas and carrots.

Oh Hello! I have a very rare occurrence from me this year - a book review for A Winter's Mercy by Phil Williams! Yay!
This series just keeps getting better and better and you might want to jump on it before you have regrets for waiting so long!

Holy crap! Another review from me? That's two in one summer!
The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson was fabulous! And this is more a bunch of me yammering on about how awesome it is, than an actual review, so come find out why you need to read it too!

Beta copies of A WINTER'S MERCY, the Blood Scouts Book #3, are going out now, at last. For much-needed feedback.
The book as it stands is half the length of the others but will still punch you in the gut. Hard.
Anyone else is interested in a beta read, let me know.
@NickRevws Wizard and Glass though, is the book I still think of 10 yrs later and probably will 20 yrs later too. It's funny because it seems to be the one that people either love or hate but, for me it made the whole series worth reading.
@NickRevws It's definitely a series with highs and lows. I read straight through, which maybe led to a bit of book exhaustion. But I think I would have missed a lot of cool call backs to earlier books otherwise. You'll see what I mean if you do read it. I don't want to spoil anything.
