My fix: I now explicitly state “Time Constraint: None” in every long-run prompt. Testing whether this is model-specific or a broader pattern.

The challenge re-starts Monday. I’ll be posting real scenarios and lessons learned.

First AI agent run? Total failure.

I fed it a massive data ingestion task. Things were going great until it stopped halfway through.

Then I watched it type: “I need to hurry - the user said we’re under a time constraint.”

Except I never said that. The AI just… made it up! 🧵
