The Indian Muslim clergy needs to really understand once and for all that at least when it comes to Eid ul Adha, it is absolutely ridiculous that we are observing Arafah on the day of the actual Eid in the Kaaba. Arafah was yesterday (26thmay) at the pilgrimage while Eid is today. The entire world celebrates it in conjunction with the pilgrimage(Hajj) as it happens, even though perhaps localised moon sightings of the 10th Dhul Hijjah are not same in different countries compared to Saudi. I mean the day is all about the Hajj but Indian Muslims are not even observing Eid when the very pilgrimage has ended. How does this even make sense?
