A banner year for the West Texas Legislative Summit! It was a pleasure sitting down with Senator @electcharles and Representative @DrewDarbyTX yesterday at the West Texas Legislative Summit to discuss what we accomplished last session and the work ahead for the 90th Legislature.

We covered a wide range of issues important to West Texans, including affordability, energy and water resources, as well as my favorite accomplishments from last session, including the Teacher Bill of Rights and getting cell phones out of our classrooms.

Helping Texans keep more of their hard-earned money is a priority, and this tax holiday is one way we’re providing relief as parents check off those back-to-school shopping lists.
